This trip is back to Hawaii....a place that we love and that always provides us with new experiences, magnificent scenery and the joy of visiting with Art's cousin Robert, his wife Agnes and, hopefully, this time we look forward to the possibility of meeting one of their daughters. One of the joys of email and Facebook is that we have been able to forge new relationships with this part of the family. And, an added benefit is that Robert and Agnes live in Kailua - one of the most beautiful coastal areas on Oahu!
Another cool part of this trip (unlike previous ones) is that we were able to book a one bedroom unit at Marriott's Beach Club at Ko o Lina where we own an every other year timeshare and exchange the attached studio unit for a studio at the Westin Ocean Villas Resort on Maui!. Two weeks for the price of one! Frequent flyer tickers on Delta in Economy Plus (thanks to Art's status with Delta from all those traveling salesman years) make this a great deal as well. So....we're not ready to pack, but we are discussing the places we'll visit, the things that we'll do, and, of course, where we will eat! Packing is a piece of cake. Not only is Hawaii casual, but we have a washer/dryer in both units so we can pack very light AND included free Internet access so that I can blog and post pictures.
I am writing this on my new Chromebook since I had some problems blogging on our iPad on the last trip. Counting on Google to keep my messages and pictures in good shape.
